Vice Lord-Lieutenant for Warwickshire. Served 20 years as a District Judge, now sitting part-time as a Recorder in the Family Court. One of the founding and a continuing trustee of Gursewak Trust. Founding and continuing member of Sikh Heritage Association Warwick and Leamington. Served as a school governor and chaired the Equal Opportunities Advisory Committee of Warwickshire College for many years. Founder chairman of the British Asian Business and Professionals Association. One of the founding trustees of Sydenham Neighbourhood Initiatives.

A retired Headteacher, working in challenging areas in Coventry over 25 years. After leaving Kings High School, Jayne trained to be an Actuary. Jayne then trained as a teacher at the University of Warwick. Jayne began and finished her career in Coventry.

Founder of the UoW Children, Young People and Families Network and Director of BA(Hons) Early Childhood, and BA(Hons) Child and Family: Mental Health at the University of Warwick. Charlotte also fulfils the role of Secretary for the Association of Child and Adolescent Mental Health (ACAMH West Midlands) and Trustee for TACTYC (Together and Committed to Young Children).

An accomplished Change and Transformation Leader with extensive experience supporting organisations through complex cultural and operational transitions. Before moving into transformation, Dr Thomas spent several years as a Senior Specialist Audiological Scientist in Paediatrics at St Thomas’ Hearing Implant Centre, Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital, London.

Served as a Town and County Councillor for 25 years, Past Mayor of Whitnash Town , Past Mayor of Warwick, Past Chairman of Royal Leamington Spa Chamber of Trade, Founder Member and Chairman of the British Asian Business and Professionals Association. One of the founding and a continuing trustee of Gursewak Trust. Founding and continuing member of Sikh Heritage Association Warwick and Leamington. Served as Trustee on Norton Foundation for 15 years. Serving Trustee of Warwick in Relief Charity, passion for Hockey – played for Khalsa Leamington Hockey Club.

A Chartered Accountant, John’s career as a Finance Director included several successful private equity backed projects as well being MD of a substantial fresh food company, before heading back into private practice. As a volunteer he was Chair of Trustees of Dogs for Good as well as helping smaller charities with finance.

Jamie Ormes is a Community Partnerships Manager at the University of Warwick, helping to lead engagement across Coventry and Warwickshire with a strong focus on social and cultural development. Jamie builds collaborative partnerships with political, statutory, voluntary and community stakeholders to improve opportunities for children, young people and families.

The Associate Director, Regional Engagement (Community) and leads the University’s community engagement. This includes building relationships with our close neighbours around campus and working with local stakeholders.
